Located in the bustling Ploenchit district, this 1,000-square-metre flagship redefines luxury retail with an opulent facade and meticulously curated interior design.

The Gold House represents more than just a shopping destination—it is a celebration of Dior’s heritage, artistry, and commitment to creating immersive brand experiences.

A Facade Worth a Million Tiles

True to its name, the Dior Gold House is wrapped in a facade that radiates golden brilliance. Crafted from one million gilded tiles, the structure takes inspiration from Dior’s iconic headquarters at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris.

The golden facade, punctuated by 300 windows, is an artful recreation of the Parisian landmark’s architectural beauty. These replicated elevations soar above the single-storey retail space, creating an illusion of grandeur while surrounding lush, plant-filled courtyards and a shaded patio for visitors to relax.

Mirrored surfaces line the inner walls of the facade, reflecting the surrounding greenery and amplifying the ethereal glow of the golden exterior.

A Grand Entryway to Luxury

Visitors enter through the courtyards, immediately enveloped by the serene interplay of nature and design. The central domed space inside, topped with a star emblem, anchors the structure with its celestial aesthetic—a subtle nod to Dior’s iconic lucky star.

The interiors feature six distinct spaces, each dedicated to Dior’s various collections, including Maria Grazia Chiuri’s womenswear, Kim Jones’ menswear, and the exclusive Dior Maison line. These spaces are adorned with natural materials such as bamboo, raffia, and wood, creating a refined and contemporary ambiance.

Culinary Delights by a Michelin-Starred Chef

Adding to the immersive experience is the Dior café, which serves an exquisite menu crafted by Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco. Nestled within the store’s grounds, the café offers a tranquil escape where guests can indulge in gourmet dishes amidst Dior’s luxurious setting.

Celebrating Thai Artistry

In a tribute to its host city, Dior collaborated with nine renowned Thai artists to create artworks that adorn the store and its grounds. Highlights include a stool imprinted with an elephant footprint, a piece by Bangkok Project Studio founder Boonserm Premthada, symbolizing the fusion of Dior’s global prestige with Thai cultural heritage.

This thoughtful integration of local art underscores Dior’s ability to adapt its global brand identity to resonate with local audiences.

A Legacy of Iconic Architecture

The Gold House concept store is the latest addition to Dior’s portfolio of architecturally distinctive boutiques. Previous standout projects include the Geneva store, enveloped by six interweaving “petals,” and a store outside Doha featuring an intricate interior facade by US studio Aranda\Lasch.
