-
Hand wash only: Voile fabrics are delicate and should be hand washed. Fill a basin or sink with cool or lukewarm water and a mild detergent. Submerge the fabric in the water and gently swirl it around. Rinse the fabric thoroughly with cool water. To prevent snagging or damage to the fabric, avoid wringing the fabric and instead gently squeeze out the water.
-
Do not bleach: Do not use any bleach or bleach-containing products on voile fabric, as this can damage the fabric and cause discoloration.
-
Do Not Tumble Dry: Voile fabrics should not be tumble dried, as this can damage the delicate fibers and cause shrinkage.
-
Line Dry: Hang voile fabrics to dry on a clothesline or drying rack, away from direct sunlight. Avoid hanging the fabric in direct sunlight, as this can cause discoloration.
-
Do not iron: Voile fabrics can be ironed on a low to medium heat setting using a pressing cloth to protect the fabric. Iron on the wrong side of the fabric to prevent shining or discoloration.
-
Dry clean only: Some voile fabrics may be labeled as dry clean only. If this is the case, take the fabric to a reputable dry cleaner and let them know the fabric type.
