The VHUN look: beads, applique and structure
Most VHUN pieces carry handwork. The Umbra Applique Maxi Dress is an off-shoulder sheath gown with applique and bead embellishment, and the Liora Halter Maxi Dress is an A-line halter covered in beads, rhinestones and applique. The mini dresses are where the sculptural side shows. How does VHUN fit?
Beaded and applique fabrics do not stretch, so order by bust and waist measurement. Bubble minis are fitted in the bodice with a structured skirt that holds its shape. Halter and off-shoulder gowns have internal support and should fit snugly at the bust.
How do I style a beaded VHUN dress?
Skip the necklace. With the Liora Halter Maxi Dress or Meredith Bead Mini Dress, small earrings, a plain heel and a smooth clutch are enough. The Noctis Hanging Sleeve Cape works as a dramatic evening layer when the venue is cool. More embellished styles are in party clothing.
