- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Avoid using bleach, harsh detergents, or fabric softeners, as they can weaken the fibers and cause discoloration.
- Drying: To dry organdy, lay the item flat on a clean, dry towel. Gently roll up the towel with the organdy inside to absorb excess moisture. Then, carefully unroll the towel and lay the organdy flat on a dry, clean surface. Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Ironing: If your organdy item is wrinkled, you can use a low to medium heat iron to remove wrinkles. However, be cautious and use a pressing cloth (a clean, thin cloth) between the iron and the organdy to prevent direct contact. Iron on the lowest setting that effectively removes wrinkles without damaging the fabric.
