Iron with Care: When ironing feathers, use a low heat setting on the iron and place a thin cotton fabric or a damp cloth over the feathers to shield them. Press the iron gently over the fabric, moving continuously to prevent damage to the feathers.
- Store Properly: To store them properly, place the feathers in a breathable cotton bag or a cardboard box, avoiding plastic bags or airtight containers that could retain moisture and cause odors. Store them in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading or alterations. Ensure the feathers aren’t crushed or compressed to maintain their shape.
