Recopilación: M.A.H

M.A.H is a Vietnamese contemporary label for graceful, feminine, modern women, making ready-to-wear for daily styling and weekend occasions. At MEAN BLVD the M.A.H collection is new and built around coordinated sets, with a group of midi dresses, one maxi dress and one ao dai set.

About M.A.H

The M.A.H look

The dresses are tailored and quiet. The Catena Cape Sleeve Midi Dress is a camel sheath that skims the ankle, with a deep V-neck, cape sleeves, a fabric belt and two front buttons. The Ballerine Pleated Midi Dress is an A-line in light cream lace with a V-neck, wide cap sleeves, even pleats and a single applique flower at the front. The Bonnie Off-Shoulder Midi Dress, the Sabrina Applique Midi Dress, the Paloma Keyhole Neck Midi Dress and the Tracy Draped Midi Dress vary the neckline, and the Margarett A-line Maxi Dress is the one long dress.

The sets are the core of the collection. The Dorris Peplum Set is three pieces: a structured peplum bustier, a slim corset and a long wide-leg pant. The Dorris V-Neck Set swaps in a flared midi skirt in floral lace. The Bertha Peplum Set is cut in smooth twill in beige with a double-button front, a fabric flower at the bodice and pleated wide-leg maxi trousers, while the Bertha Applique Set pairs a notched lapel peplum top with a pleated maxi skirt. The Cady, Coco and Celia V-Neck Sets, the Helen Peplum Set, the Royal Fringe Set, the Ruby Braid Trim Set and the Viva Tulip Sleeve Set follow, each with its own detail.

The Haute Ascendance capsule

Nearly every M.A.H piece at MEAN BLVD is tagged Haute Ascendance, the label's current capsule, so the collection reads as one wardrobe: tops and bottoms in matching twill, lace and jacquard that can also be split and worn with other pieces. The Cat Tuong Sheath Ao Dai Set is the one traditional silhouette and sits in the store-wide Ao Dai edit, and all of the matched looks also appear under Co-ord Sets.

When to wear M.A.H

The twill and jacquard sets are office-ready and move to dinner without a change. The lace sets and the Ballerine dress are for spring and summer events, and the Catena dress works for an evening where you want sleeves and length. Most sets are sleeveless, so plan a jacket for cooler rooms or more covered settings.

How do the sets work?

Each set is sold as one listing with its pieces included, usually a peplum or V-neck top and a matching skirt or trouser, and in the Dorris Peplum Set a corset as well. Tops are cut for a regular fit at the natural waist; the wide-leg trousers are long and meant to fall to the shoe, so note your height against the inseam.
