The Modest Edit

The Modest Edit gathers the covered pieces from MEAN BLVD designers: long sleeves, high necks, ankle and floor lengths, and tops that work under a jacket or an abaya. Most of the collection is maxi or midi dresses, with a smaller group of jackets, a blazer and long-sleeved tops. Every piece is made to order by the designer, so sleeve and hem lengths can be adjusted before it is cut.

What is in The Modest Edit

Maxi dresses lead, then midi dresses, long-sleeved tops and a few jackets. Fabrics are taffeta, crepe, poly silk, cotton and velvet, mostly in white, black and red. The coverage comes from the cut, not from layering.

How to choose a modest dress here

Most sheath and A-line dresses here are lined; the product page states the fabric. If a listing mentions mesh or a see-through panel, plan for a slip or ask the designer to add lining.

Can I order a longer sleeve or a higher neck?

Yes. Each dress is made to order, and the measurement form lets you note full-length sleeves, a closed back or a higher neckline. The designer confirms what the pattern allows before cutting.
