Care Instructions
- Hand Washing: Fill a basin or sink with lukewarm water. Add a mild upholstery or fabric cleaner to the water, following the manufacturer's instructions for dilution. Gently agitate the water to create suds. Dip a soft cloth or sponge into the soapy water and wring it out to avoid excessive moisture. Gently blot and clean the foam fabric's surface using the damp cloth or sponge. Avoid rubbing vigorously, as it could damage the fabric or foam underneath.
- Water Temperature: Use lukewarm or cold water for cleaning foam fabric. Hot water can damage both the fabric and the foam inside. Cold water is usually safer and helps prevent shrinking, fading, and other potential issues.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach, strong solvents, or abrasive cleaners on foam fabric, as they can cause discoloration, deterioration, or damage to the foam.
- Drying: After hand washing, let the foam fabric air dry in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.Ensure the fabric is completely dry before using or storing it. Moisture trapped within the foam can lead to mold growth.
- Ironing: Foam fabric typically should not be ironed directly, as high heat can damage the foam or melt the fabric. If the fabric covering the foam requires ironing, use a low heat setting and a pressing cloth (such as a thin cotton cloth) between the iron and the foam fabric. Keep the iron moving constantly to prevent overheating and damage.
